IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success depends on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

In the next few years, we see exciting transformational projects driven by new business models and Industry 4.0. We are also implementing a new ERP system to modernize our system landscape and support growing business demands. This will dramatically change how we conduct business, and we need a new valued team member to help us on this digitalization journey.

About the job

As a business and system analyst for Battery Production, a cornerstone in Scania's eMobility program, you will translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications. You will be a key interface between business and IT.

You will work with requirement management, data collection and analysis, and facilitate workshops to establish as-is and to-be processes. All of this ensures that IT development delivers effectively to the business.

As a business and system analyst, you will be part of strategy and development planning and have internal responsibilities in OKR work. You will be involved in both projects and maintenance, working in different teams on various tasks while always keeping the customer in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Work primarily with the battery production unit and closely with other areas connected to battery production to secure processes to and from production.
  • Collaborate with different development teams to verify the completeness and functionality of various deliveries.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and other IT stakeholders, including project managers, business analysts, line managers, product owners, and resources in other Scania IT departments.
  • Maintain a collaborative mindset to ensure business needs, architectural perspectives, and standards are fully considered and secured in the IT solution at the battery factory.

Desired Qualifications

  • Education within IT at a university level
  • 2-5 years of work experience within IT
  • Strong cooperation skills
  • Good understanding of development
  • Good understanding of process development
  • Strong methodology and structure skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

Experience with ERP, MES, and SCADA systems and knowledge of Industry 4.0 is a plus. Swedish language skills are also a plus.
