Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Designer who wants to have a key role in our unit's operations. The Low Voltage Systems unit markets, sells, designs, and manufactures low voltage switchgear and control equipment in Västerås. The main segments are process industry and power generation. We sell directly to end customers as well as through installers and system integrators.

• Responsible for the company's standard program based on electrical properties.
• Perform electrical calculations based on the products' electrical properties.
• You work independently with support from the team.
• Extensive contact with customers, technical support, suppliers, and the design department.
• Handle technical challenges and be responsible for standardization from an electrical safety perspective.

Qualifications for the role

• Technical education in electrical power at university level.
• Strong knowledge in electrical power, precision, and genuine interest in technology.
• Experience in switchgear work, particularly in low voltage.
• Fluent in Swedish and English is mandatory.
• Deep knowledge in dimensioning and other electrical power-related areas.
• Productive yet meticulous as a person.
