We are now looking for an experienced IT Solution Architect to join our Manufacturing IT team where you will be owning the solution architecture end to end for new IT solutions which aligns with the architecture guidelines as well as regulatory, privacy and security guidelines.

About the job

This position will plan and develop new IT solutions that will fit Business needs. It includes creating joint roadmaps with the business, being accountable for identifying, clarifying, and addressing both business and user needs. You will translate these insights into innovative prototypes and solutions that drive our success in the manufacturing IT landscape. As a key player, you will have the holistic view of our entire solution architecture, owning the end-to-end solution implementation in our manufacturing IT environment and landscape.

These are the key accountabilities for the role:

• Responsible for building a joint roadmap, clarify needs & solution and shape the solution architecture.
• Drives and follow up key decisions regarding architecture and design for a specific solution that is flexible, re-usable and in sync with changing business needs.
• Responsible for securing and safeguarding the integrity of the solution architecture in line with domain and enterprise architecture and architecture guidelines as well as regulatory, privacy and security guidelines.
• Contributes to development and implementation of the global IT strategy including digital vision & mission and digital technology innovation roadmap.
• Lead and contribute to product teams and drive deliveries in collaboration with the delivery team members according to team commitments.

 If all that sounds appealing, then here is what we would like you to demonstrate:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT-solution development; Minimum of 3 years working with IT architecture.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of solution architecture e.g business architecture, information architecture, application architecture and technology architecture.
• Experience from working in manufacturing and/or logistics SAP environment.
• Hands-on Sap S/4 Hana expertise
• Strong ability to gain understanding of customers’ business and manufacturing processes and unmet and hidden needs, while also managing expectations and scope.
• Experience from agile development and DevOps methods including understanding of end-to-end Software Delivery Lifecycle processes.
• Strong ability to develop and present new ideas, concepts, approaches and solutions.
• System thinking with comprehensive knowledge of relevant platforms & technologies including documented experience of enterprise software and API oriented architecture.
• Documented experience from applying digital technology creating business effect.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
