Husqvarna is in the forefront of robotizing the greenspace industry. Within the Pro Robotic R&D department, we are focused to deliver innovative, top end robotic products and digital services meeting the demands of the professional customers.

We are already a strong core team of around 85 people in the Pro Robotics R&D team, with around 25 of us focused on the digital services. We are now looking for an experienced Frontend Test Engineer.

In the digital team, we are responsible for digital services for professional users of Husqvarna robotic mowers and other products. In the role as frontend test engineer you are responsible for app and web frontend testing, methodology and test documentation within the frontend development team. You work together with system engineers and UI designers to understand the requirements and design of new features, design and document test cases for these features and carry out and document the results of the tests. You also collaborate closely with the developers regarding any trouble shooting and clarifications while performing the tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Software or Test Engineering with at least 10 years working experience.
• Extensive experience within frontend testing
• Experience in the following areas is also a plus:
• Robotic lawn mower systems and similar
• IoT systems, remote monitoring and control of devices via web and/or apps
• Best practice UI design for Android and iOS apps and for Web
• Test tools for API testing, frontend test automation, etc.

As a person, you are target oriented, analytical, meticulous, communicative, enjoy understanding the customer needs and describing that from a technical perspective in written form and have the ability to deliver results. You are open and curious and want to learn and develop in new technologies together with your colleagues. You have a good understanding of software development and testing and love the role as a tester where you help the entire team reach the quality levels required for being successful on the market and to have happy end users.
