You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure necessary to support our Pega applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems. • Design, deploy, and manage the infrastructure required for hosting Pega applications.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration between application code and infrastructure components.

• Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions.

• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and trends to enhance system capabilities.

• Engage with cross-functional teams on the daily activities such as, server monitoring, triaging issues and Platform monitoring.

• Take initiative and lead in automation activities to promote the culture of using “As a code” service more within the team and the organization.

• Run technical guilds on DevOps and test automation to promote ideas and innovation.

What isneeded in this role:

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure Technologies and operation (RHEL, Oracle DB, WebSphere, Tomcat, ITIL).

• Familiarity with monitoring tool (Grafana, ELK, Splunk, AppDynamics).

• Knowledge of cloud related services like AWS and Azure.

• Knowledge of modern micro service architecture, containerization concepts and orchestration framework.

• Familiarity with automation tools and language for infrastructure provisioning (Shell scripting, YAML).

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex systems.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

• Relevant academic degree,
• Considered as an advantage:
• Experience in agile ways of working and knowledge about SAFe methodology.
• Experience from working in Pega.
• Knowledge of DevOps technology (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible, GIT, Jenkins).
