Technical Sales – Electrical System Integration

For our Electrical System Integration team, we are now seeking reinforcements in the role of Technical Sales - ESI

The role includes work in the sales phase for electrical propulsion solutions for both new sales as well as for vessel going through retrofits and/or upgrade.

Key Duties:

  • Compilation of solutions for our electrical integration offerings to fulfill customers' requirements.
  • Act as a technical expert in the sales process, working together with the sales representatives in our regional sales offices.
  • Drive initiatives supporting owners and designers in finding the best technical solutions for their propulsion needs, such as hybrid or electric driven propulsion solution.
  • Request quotes from partners and suppliers for individual components, systems, and complete solutions.
  • Verify technical solutions with the product manager, partners, and class societies.
  • Providing support to our global sales representatives in their process with the end users and shipyards by offering technical sales presentations, performance studies, and/or attending face-to-face meetings.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Controls and Purchasing to meet common project and company goals.
  • Participate in the team's ongoing work for the development and improvement of our product offering, processes, and documentation.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Secondary education or equivalent in electrical or automation fields.
  • Work experience in electrical/automation or equivalent.
  • The ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and drawings and create high-level SLDs.
  • Customer focus and is result-oriented, thriving on challenges.
  • High accuracy with a focus on details and the ability to work well independently as well as in a team.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written and basic computer literacy.
  • Good prioritization and multitasking capability.
  • Fluent spoken and written English language proficiency.
