Scandinavian Airlines System SAS Senior Duty Maintenance Planner Duty Maintenance Planning is a function of Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) – department of CAMO organization. The main purpose of the team is to ensure airworthiness of the SAS Fleet by monitoring aircraft fleet status and performing short-term maintenance planning activities, including, but not limited to, defect rectification planning, coordination of planned activities in collaboration with the Operations Control and Maintenance Production teams, and other stakeholders. Challenges you will work on: In this role you will have the responsibility, be expected to take the leadership, and bring the expertise about the matters related to short-term planning functions. You would be conducting the work as a part of the shift roster also to ensure the subject matter expertise and experience. One aspect of the role is to develop current procedures and collaboration between related stakeholders. Please note that this role requires the ability to work in shifts, both days and nights as scheduled. As a Senior Duty Maintenance Planner at SAS, you will: - Monitor Continued Airworthiness status of the fleet - Perform short-term maintenance planning activities - Conduct change management in situations where it’s required to secure optimal utilization of the fleet and ensure operational performance - Plan defect rectification of the fleet - Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure executability of the maintenance plan - Perform post-production duties including documentation check and ensuring correct CRS information. To be successful, we believe you should have: - Good understanding of EASA Continued Airworthiness (EU) Regulations No 1321/2014 - Previous work experience from Continued Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) or Aircraft Maintenance - Previous work experience as a short-term maintenance planner - Experience with working with at least one of the aircraft types in the SAS fleet - Ability to demonstrate the knowledge of aircraft maintenance planning in relation to ETOPS, CDCCL, Critical task, MEL, ATL, AD -  Good understanding of procedures related to planning and execution of aircraft maintenance tasks, including ensuring prerequisites like resource, tooling, and hangar availability - Ability to work under pressure in a fast changing and dynamic environment - Sharp judgement skills and the ability to develop procedures - Excellent communication skills and preferably fluent in at least one Scandinavian language - The ability to influence and motivate other colleagues and co-workers - Experience in identifying and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
