Introduction
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a producer of trucks, buses and engines to being a provider of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Our team, Scania Cross Brand Operations is part of a global matrix organization with connections to Scania Business Control as well as the finance team of TRATON. Together with various different TRATON functions as well as the finance team we establish collaboration models to enhance the efficiency between all brands in the group.
Scania Cross Brand Operations is also a stand-alone and rapidly growing reporting unit accountable for all Scania involved intra TRATON business streams.
The team
The team have the main responsibility to examine and evaluate Scania’s opportunities and risks in business setups with other brands within the TRATON group and other strategic partners not belonging to the TRATON Group.

The role
The role as Business Manager means being a key function representing Scania as a component and solution supplier towards brands within TRATON and other external partners. You will also act as a buying party when components are being purchased from another TRATON brand. By utilizing the existing cooperation models within TRATON, you will safeguard the interests and compliance of Scania and the TRATON group.
Your primary task will be to negotiate long term contracts for licensing and sales of key components produced by Scania.
The job entails:
Your profile
You have a bachelor or master degree in engineering or business & administration. You have at least five years of work experience at Scania, TRATON group or within the industry. You have been working within purchasing, sales, project management or business development. Commercial experience is considered meritorious and we also strongly believe in diversity so other types of experiences and competences are of great interest.
This is an ideal position if you see yourself as business minded and have the interest in combining technical, commercial and financial aspects into one context. Cross Brand Operations’ assignment is done in close collaboration with a large number of functions within Scania and TRATON and it is therefore important that you are communicative and feel comfortable working with a large network. You need to be fluent in English.
Cross Brand Operations’ role and responsibility is still under development and it is therefore important that you feel comfortable navigating and drive questions forward in areas, processes and tasks where everything is not fully decided or clear.
