Do you have experience and understanding of group reporting processes? Then this might be your next challenge! In the Group Accounting team within Sandvik’s financial organization, we’re looking for a Financial Controller to join us.

Your job

Together with your colleagues, you play an important part in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of our financial reporting processes. In addition to preparing statements and reports, you also provide communication to, and support, the finance community within Sandvik with reporting and accounting related questions.

Included in your responsibility is:

  • Analysis and review of reported figures to ensure correct consolidation, including multi-currency inter-company reconciliation.
  • Preparation of Group financial statements, including reconciliations and specifications, documentation for auditors and compilation of notes to our annual report.
  • Preparation of consolidated interim and annual reports.
  • Optimize procedures and continuously improve and develop the quality of the reporting.
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with international reporting standards (IFRS).

You’re located at our headquarters in central Stockholm and report to the Group Accounting Manager. You have flexible work options and a hybrid setup where you can work remotely a couple of days per week, depending on the current tasks and projects.

Your skills and personality

We’re looking for someone with a degree in business administration, combined with some experience of group accounting and IFRS. You’re comfortable using different tools and systems, especially Excel. Experience in using the consolidation system OneStream is an advantage. As we work in an international setting, you communicate effortlessly in English, both verbally and in writing, while skills in Swedish is beneficial.

Another important feature of your character is the way you endorse team spirit and collaborate with your colleagues to achieve great results. With your good communication skills, you effortlessly build trust among stakeholders and create strong and lasting relationships with the people you meet.
