IES Upplands Väsby is looking for substitute teachers capable of covering classes for absent fritids staff and teachers from F-klass to year 9, across all subjects.  Clear instructions and cover plans are always provided by the permanent teacher.  While some assignments may be pre-planned, others may require short-notice availability, necessitating a reasonable commute to Upplands Väsby. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience working with children who are curious about teaching or fritids roles, and perhaps pursuing a career in education. Fluency in English is essential, as it is our working language. Candidates must hold a valid work permit for Sweden and a recent police clearance check, as mandated by law when working with children.  We seek individuals who preferably have teaching experience, show calmness, follow instructions with ease, are fluent in English, and are comfortable working with children aged 6 to 16.  Alignment with and comfortability with the IES ethos is also important.
