About the role Are you a student eager to dive into the world of finance while balancing your studies? If so, then this position is suitable for you! As a Junior Financial Controller for British American Tobacco you will be preparing financial data, managing / analyzing accounts payable and assisting with month/year-end closings. You will be a part of the Finance team where you will cooperate closely with all departments - not only to measure and control, but also to add value to the business. As a Junior Financial Controller your major responsibilities includes: • Assisting in managing entry SAP ERP system master data • Supporting in the consolidation of accounts • Supporting the company accounts payable management • Contributing to monthly P&L views and financial statement preparation The role as Junior Financial Controller is a part-time consultant assignment with starting date as soon as possible. The office is based in Malmö. About you We are seeking a student with a passion for finance and an eagerness to learn. You are studying economics and looking for a part-time position to gain experience. To succeed in this role, you need to have strong thorough understanding of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically Excel. You have experience from working in a dynamic operating environment and experience of dealing with stakeholders. Qualities we´re looking for in this role: • Previous experience in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration • Understanding of accounts payable process would be an advantage • SAP experience is an advantage • Ability to handle large volumes of information and present it in an accurate and relevant format • Strong communication skills, both in Swedish and English As a person you´re responsible, analytic and you have an ability to organize and prioritize. You can work under pressure, and you can deliver high quality with tight deadlines.
