Job Opportunity:  Mainframe Architect About the job: We´re seeking a Mainframe Architect to join our team specializing in Mainframe Infrastructure solutions. If you have 12-20 years of experience (with 10-15 years in relevant roles) and a technical level of Level 4, we want to hear from you!  Position: Mainframe Architect Domain: Mainframe - Infrastructure Location: Gothenburg Language Requirement: English (French and/or Swedish proficiency valued) Technical Skills Required: • 10+ years of experience in system programming, architecture & design in mainframe infrastructure projects. • Proficiency in Mainframe & Storage hardware systems. • Strong understanding of the Mainframe software portfolio. • Expertise in Enterprise Mainframe Architecture. • Track record in implementing mainframe service improvement plans. • Knowledgeable in one or more mainframe subsystem technologies (e.g., z/OS, CICS, DB2, IMS, mainframe security). • Ability to provide solutions for Legacy modernization, MIPS optimization, and storage consolidation. • Cost awareness and control. • Comprehensive understanding of system limitations. Key Responsibilities:  • Contribution to RFI & RFP technical answers. • Designing and presenting technical solutions. • Providing consulting and SME scoping assistance as needed. • Leading technical demonstrations for clients. • Offering technical guidance to mainframe customers. General Skills Required: • Proactive and independent time management. • Effective communication in both individual and group settings. • Skilled in delivering formal presentations across organizational levels. • Ability to understand business needs and craft solutions accordingly. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Adherence to policies and procedures. • Efficient planning and organization. • Sound judgment and decision-making. • Commitment to quality management. • Willingness to travel up to 15%.
