We are looking for a Data Engineer

The Analytics & AI team is looking for a Data Engineer. The team seeks someone passionate about designing, maintaining, and optimizing data infrastructure for data collection, management, transformation, and access. As a Data Engineer, you will be in charge of creating pipelines that convert raw data into usable formats for data scientists and other data consumers to utilize.

It’s a highly technical position and you will in your daily work delve into programming, architecture design, and computer science. Additionally, you will also be responsible for visualizing data using AWS QuickSight and other tools.

You will also collaborate with our Data Engineers, Business Analyst and Software Developers to turn data into critical information used in decision-making processes.

Who are you?

You are a collaborative team player with a good understanding of the business who thrives under challenging and changing conditions. As a Data Engineer, you also need good soft skills to communicate data trends to others in the organization and to help the business make use of the data it collects. You might currently be working as a seasoned Data Engineer, Developer, or in some other similar role.

• You deliver high-quality code and feel great ownership of the code
• You are willing to cater for the complete life cycle of the code

We believe that you bring:

• Experience of AWS cloud platform or other equivalent cloud platform
• Knowledge with Python and a good foundation in SQL
• Knowledge with databases and data lake management
• Knowledge with data warehousing solutions and data visualization
• Understanding of data modeling and ETL processes
• Interest in machine learning

Recruitment process

At WirelessCar we believe in a Hybrid Remote work setup. The work location is in the Gothenburg region and this employment is just for work set-up in Sweden.
