Northvolt's Finance team in Stockholm is looking for a Financial Analyst to the team!

About the job

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is a part of the Northvolt Group Business Control team. The analyst collaborates with several teams but mainly with the Business Controllers to prepare consolidated actuals, Management and Board, reporting for Northvolt. The role also includes active participation in the forecasting and annual budgeting processes, acting as business controller for selected group functions, as well as work with continuous improvement and automation of the financial consolidation, reporting, analysis and budgeting processes.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare the management accounts and ensure group consolidated financials are aligned with business unit reporting.
  • Prepare cashflow reporting.
  • Prepare the monthly Board and Management reporting. Collect and review input from Business Controllers, Corporate finance, Treasury, Strategy and other parties.
  • Collaborate with the corporate finance team on various tasks, including Capital Allocation, liquidity planning and investor dialogue.
  • Consolidate budgets and forecasts from across the organization into a Northvolt total. Prepare presentation materials summarizing budgets and forecasts for Management and Board.
  • Be the Business Controller for selected group functions, and work with function heads to report actuals, create budgets and forecasts, and analyze deviations to plans and opportunities for improvement.
  • Be the key finance person when it comes to yearly reporting on EU Taxonomy metrics and related communications to investors.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A e.g., by utilising BI tools to deliver automation of reporting and analyses.

We believe that you have :

  • A university degree in Finance, or similar relevant education
  • 1-3 years experience from a finance or controller role
  • Excellent English, written and oral (other languages a bonus)
