What are we looking for?

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will work on various platforms and customer assignments, designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions according to requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the data pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop, code and implement data solutions according to requirements.
• Maintain data sources, pipelines, and models.
• Develop data quality checks for source and target data sets.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes.
• Enhance existing applications and platforms.
• Create project specifications and requirements.
• Develop and maintain reports.
• Adopt best practices and share them across the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, and recommend best practices to improve our data infrastructure.

Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
• Strong experience with databases like SQL or similar.
• Good knowledge in ETL, PowerApps, Databricks, Docker, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Access, SPSS Modeler, SAS or similar.
• Expertise in Hadoop, PySpark, Hive or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
• Experience in data modelling and data warehousing.
• Experience creating ETL/ELT processes and reports.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
• Proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
