Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Function Domain Owner to join our dynamic team

What you will work on:

• Conduct function design activities as an alternative for FDA, covering aspects such as ACR, FuSa, Domain SDD, and Impact analysis.
• Manage internal or external stakeholder requirements and ensure connection to the function requirement. Ensure that features are recorded with mandatory aspects of analysis, such as value addition, market research, and nearest benchmark (automotive or retail reference).
• Participate in intake voting for introduced features/services. Develop a function/system/component composition architecture, and if necessary, seek support from function owners and other architects.
• Integrate the UX framework for each feature/service into SystemWeaver.
• Estimate and design memory consumption, latency, and secondary or tertiary mechanisms/algorithms.
• Provide function owners with inputs containing UX, legal, and feature decomposition designs, as per the architecture (Defined nomenclatures, exact granularity of function elements).
• Support function owners by forwarding function design requirements to the correct sub-systems.
• Ensure sub-systems are designed according to the architecture with correct nomenclature and file structure, creating the most atomic and modular components.
• Prepare common/mandatory requirements for the platform and unique designs for application components.
• Establish/re-establish requirements that are platform-wide and shouldn’t be application-specific, such as internet/GPS/radio connectivity.
• Ensure regular GDPR compliance and prepare a platform tunnel to centralize data safeguarding.
• Support software owners with post-deployment of subsystem components, build inter-ECU communication, VFCs, etc., and manage the correct sprints for implementation.
• Day to Day / Short-term Responsibilities:
• Participate in Change Review Management Board (CRMB), reviewing all change requests/incoming features.
• Conduct impact analysis of voted features and share reports.
• Facilitate a Function Owner Review Board to assess the impact of introduced features on their function.
• Create Architectural Change Requests.
• Manage domain-level design architecture, replacing conventional SDD in Visio and managing it as an Interface Mapping set in SystemWeaver.
• Trace stakeholder requirements to the function area, including legal and attribute aspects.
• Assist Function Owners in assessing ASIL classification, GDPR impact, and UX feasibility.
• Conduct Technical Review Board (TRB) for Functions (Onboard-Offboard) and Sub-system handshake.
• Chair technical agreement decisions between function requirements and all impacted sub-systems.
• Ensure alignment in terms of content and timeline to realize a feature (Function Owners can understand when a User level acceptance test can be performed, etc.).
• The domain-level design description in the interface mapping set provides System Owners with firsthand information to create a SCR.

What you bring:

• Proven experience with a holistic view of digital/infotainment/connectivity function groups within the automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of creating modular and atomic function and system components.
• Familiarity with standards and guidelines such as Autosar, UDS, FuSa, Cyber Security, GDPR, Cloud, and connectivity.
• Ability to drive a feature from inception to production readiness.
• Experience in defining concise continuous integration and deployment models specific to the domain.
