Business Unit Ground Combat is experiencing significant growth and international expansion. To meet increasing business demands and strengthen our future capabilities, we are accelerating our transformation journey across business development, digitalization, AI, and global operations.

We are now looking for a Head of Transformation Office to lead and drive strategic transformation initiatives that strengthen the Business Unit's competitiveness, efficiency, and long-term success.

As a member of the Business Support Management Team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the business and ensuring that we have the right processes, capabilities, and ways of working to support continued growth.

The position can be based in Karlskoga or Karlstad, depending on your location.

As Head of Transformation Office, you will lead a team of business improvement specialists, transformation leaders, and project managers responsible for driving business development, digital transformation, and strategic change initiatives across the organization.

You will translate strategy into execution by leading initiatives that improve operational performance, strengthen digital capabilities, and support international growth. A key focus will be on leveraging digital technologies, AI, and data-driven ways of working while developing efficient end-to-end processes across the business.

The Transformation Office also provides project management capabilities for international establishments, industrialization initiatives, and technology transfer projects. In close collaboration with key stakeholders, you will ensure successful implementation of strategic priorities and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

· Lead and develop the Transformation Office and its team · Drive strategic transformation and business improvement initiatives · Accelerate digitalization through modern technologies, automation, and AI · Develop end-to-end processes that improve efficiency and business performance · Establish governance, prioritization, and follow-up of transformation initiatives · Lead cross-functional programs supporting growth, international expansion, and operational excellence · Support leaders and managers in driving organizational change · Ensure alignment between transformation initiatives and business objectives

You have extensive experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives in complex organizations and a strong ability to turn strategy into measurable results.

You bring experience from areas such as business transformation, digitalization, operations, program management, or management consulting. Experience from international expansion, industrialization, or technology transfer projects is considered an advantage.

As a leader, you are strategic, structured, and results-oriented, with the ability to engage stakeholders and drive change across organizational boundaries. You combine strong business acumen with a genuine interest in people, processes, and technology.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
