Do you want to shape how a new business area grows - finding and defining use cases and making them visible among partners and end customers? We are looking for a Business Development Manager to own and structure our growth strategy within Business Intelligence and Operational Efficiency, making the whole organization able to sell it and ensure it scales across our global partner landscape. This is a permanent, full-time position based on site at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden. Who is your future team? You will join our Business Development function at Axis headquarters in Lund, and report to the Director, Business Development. The Global Business Development team identifies, develops, and accelerates business opportunities, guiding them from initial engagement through launch and into scaled growth. We build growth and go-to-market plans to accelerate key areas. We align and manage stakeholders to support global growth. The team consists of 14 senior individual contributors. What you'll do here as Business Development Manager Business Intelligence and Operational Efficiency is an area where the opportunity is clear but the path is still being built. Your job is to give it direction - deciding which use cases to pursue, which partners to build them with, and how the rest of the organization gets equipped to take them to market.

• Own and structure the growth strategy within Business Intelligence and Operational Efficiency, aligning it with the wider Axis sales and marketing strategy.
• Make sure our use cases reach our customer base, including channels to reach the end customers and partners (AECs, Academy, internal seales trainings etc)
• Create and develop use cases:
  • Working across our existing ecosystem and when needed expanding it.
  • Find the most relevant partners to adopt and build on use cases, working across distributors, channel partners, and end customers.
  • Collaborate closely with our regions and head regions to make sure successful use cases and partner strategies can be scaled rather than repeated from scratch.
• Act as the spokesperson towards our headquarter functions, making sure Business Intelligence and Operational Efficiency is taken into account when they define their own strategies and roadmaps.
• Use the portfolio to build new solutions in this area, and advocate in roadmap discussions for the new features, functions, and products the business area needs.
• Make sure adequate training is available, so that colleagues and partners can understand and position new solutions with confidence.
• Make sure our partner programs fit new business areas as they emerge and mature.
• Measuring and follow up the results in this market.
• Work closely with our marketing organization as one of the key stakeholders

Who are we looking for? You are able to take complex or unfamiliar topics and make them understandable and actionable for audiences who are not specialists in the area. You build strong relationships and credibility across internal teams, partners, and customers, and you operate through trust and influence rather than formal authority. You learn new domains quickly and enjoy bringing others along with you. You manage different stakeholders to take new global solutions to the market. You communicate clearly in writing as well as verbally. You are self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable driving change in an area where not everything is defined yet. We'd love to hear that you have/are:

• Extensive experience in business development or a similar commercial role.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent knowledge gained in other ways.
• Commercialization, technical, and product knowledge from the security and/or IT industry.
• Experience enabling a sales organization or channel to sell new or unfamiliar solutions.
• Familiarity with solution and service selling
• Fluent in English.
