Your role and responsibilities

At Metallurgy Products, we develop, manufacture, and deliver electromagnetic stirrers that help customers improve metal quality, process efficiency, and sustainability. Our solutions are used by leading companies in the global steel and aluminum industry. As a global business unit, we combine world-class engineering with our own workshop and production facilities in Västerås, Sweden. This allows us to take full responsibility for the entire value chain, from design and manufacturing to installation and commissioning. Our work extends far beyond the factory floor. Through international projects, site assignments, and customer collaborations across the globe, we help shape the future of the metals industry while delivering innovative solutions to customers worldwide. Your responsibilities

• Drive and continuously improve HSE processes, plans and ways of working.
• Support managers, project teams and operational personnel in risk assessments, incident investigations and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with ABB requirements, legal obligations and internal management standards.
• Lead HSE reporting, KPI follow-up and documentation, ensuring activities are completed and properly evidenced.
• Promote a proactive culture where hazards, risks and improvement opportunities are identified and addressed.
• Support site activities, installation and commissioning phases from an HSE perspective.
• Coordinate quality governance activities, including ISO management systems, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of the function towards a broader HSEQ framework.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HSE within manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering or project environments.
• Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, reporting and management systems.
• Experience working with audits, ISO standards and quality processes is highly valued.
• A hands-on and structured approach, with the ability to work independently and drive activities to completion.
• Comfortable working with documentation, KPIs, databases and reporting tools.
• Experience from an international and matrix-organized environment is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
