System Developer – Purchasing, Finance and Invoicing

Location: Skellefteå, Sweden / Partial Remote

Working method: Hybrid – approximately 50% remote

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced System Developer to work with business systems and integrations within the areas of purchasing, finance and invoicing.

The role involves system development, maintenance, integration, troubleshooting and further development of IT systems supporting business-critical processes. You will work across several technical and business areas and contribute to stable, reliable and efficient digital solutions.

Responsibilities

The role includes a varied combination of development, maintenance and integration activities, including:

• Development, maintenance and further development of business systems.
• Needs analysis, requirements analysis, solution design, troubleshooting and technical support.
• Development and management of integrations through an integration platform.
• Implementation and maintenance of integrations between different business systems.
• Invoicing and invoice management processes, from invoice creation through processing and archiving.
• Banking and finance-related solutions, including encryption, signing and handling of payment and reporting files.
• Development and maintenance of financial accounting solutions.
• Creation and maintenance of reports for financial monitoring and analysis.
• Support for budget-related processes and financial reporting.
• Collaboration with developers, business specialists and other stakeholders.
• Contributing to continuous improvement, automation and digitalisation of business processes.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate must meet competency level 2 and have:

• Fluent Swedish communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• At least 3 years of experience developing, managing and further developing the same IT system throughout its lifecycle. The required experience must relate to one and the same system and cannot be achieved by combining corresponding lifecycle phases from different systems.
• At least 3 years of experience in system development using Visual Studio and/or VS Code, including integrated version control with Git.
• At least 3 years of professional experience with C#/.NET development.
• At least 3 years of experience with an additional scripting or backend language alongside C#, such as PowerShell or Python.
• At least 3 years of experience working with IT systems and/or digital services in production environments with requirements for availability and continuity.
• At least 3 years of experience analysing, designing and implementing requirements.
• At least 3 years of experience working within a development team.
• At least 3 years of experience implementing integrations where an integration platform is the primary solution for system integration, business logic and communication between systems.
• At least 3 years of experience creating and maintaining reports, for example using Microsoft Power BI.
• At least 3 years of experience working with relational databases, including development and maintenance of SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and views.

Additional Experience

Experience in the following areas is required:

• Working in cross-functional teams.
• Implementing integrations with Microsoft Dynamics/Xellent.
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• TEIS integration platform.
• Automating and digitalising business processes using established automation platforms such as Power Automate or equivalent. Script-based automation alone does not meet this requirement.
• Working within the energy industry, particularly with B2C and B2B invoicing.
• Financial accounting.
• Azure DevOps or equivalent tools for planning, coordinating and monitoring development activities.
