Join our Quality Control team at McNeil in the Stattena site in Helsingborg to ensure product quality and safety across our analytical workflows. In this position, you will execute key chemical analyses on raw materials and finished products while maintaining compliance with strict quality and regulatory standards.

McNeil is a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility located in Helsingborg, Sweden.

Originally founded in 1914 as Leo Läkemedel, the site has a deep history in Swedish pharmaceutical production. It operated under the McNeil name for many years as part of Johnson & Johnson. Today, the facility operates under Kenvue—the consumer health company spun off from Johnson & Johnson

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical testing and analytical procedures using HPLC and GC techniques.
• Maintain rigorous adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and Data Integrity standards.
• Document analytical results, maintain laboratory equipment, and support daily lab operations.
• Collaborate across the QC team to ensure reliable and timely testing to meet release timelines.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

Must Have:

• Education: Relevant scientific degree (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bio/Pharmaceutical Sciences).
• Practical Experience: Proven hands-on experience with laboratory analysis and instrumentation.
• Chromatography Expertise: Practical hands-on experience running HPLC and/or GC.
• Regulatory Compliance: Strong knowledge of GMP, Data Integrity, and GDP requirements.
• Languages: Professional fluency in both Swedish and English (spoken and written).

Good to Have:

• Prior analytical testing experience in a pharmaceutical Quality Control (QC) laboratory.
• Hands-on experience using Empower CDS and LIMS (LabWare) systems.
• Knowledge of global pharmacopoeias (Ph. Eur., USP, JP).
• Experience handling non-conformances, deviation investigations, and root cause analysis.
• A proactive mindset focused on Continuous Improvement and operational excellence.
