Assignment Description

We are looking for a senior Network Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Operate and troubleshoot complex enterprise network environments
• Work with Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Cisco ISE and HPE/Aruba
• Design and troubleshoot routing and switching solutions
• Work with OSPF, BGP, VLAN and STP
• Develop and maintain network segmentation
• Implement and troubleshoot Site-to-Site VPN and GlobalProtect
• Perform packet captures and analyze traffic flows
• Analyze network logs and identify root causes
• Contribute to network architecture and solution design
• Develop and improve large-scale network solutions
• Automate network operations using Python and Ansible
• Support monitoring and network troubleshooting
• Collaborate with technical teams and other stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership and knowledge sharing
• Contribute to bid, quotation and procurement activities

What You Bring

• Extensive experience as a Network Engineer / Network Specialist
• Strong experience with enterprise firewall operations and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Check Point
• Experience with Cisco, Cisco ISE and HPE/Aruba
• Deep understanding of routing and switching
• Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, VLAN and STP
• Strong understanding of firewall technologies including Palo Alto, Juniper and Fortigate
• Strong knowledge of network segmentation
• Experience with VPN and GlobalProtect
• Experience with packet captures, traffic analysis and log interpretation
• Knowledge of Python and Ansible
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience working with large and complex network environments
• Ability to work both hands-on and at architecture/design level
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to take technical ownership and lead when required
• Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken
