About the RoleYou will join an automotive electronics and software environment where body functions, system behavior and ECU development need to work together seamlessly.
In this role, you will strengthen a team working with body controls and take a broad responsibility that spans both function development and ECU ownership for a body controller.
You will work close to the full development chain, from concept work and requirement definition to supplier dialogue, integration, verification and validation.
The role involves many technical interfaces and gives you the opportunity to collaborate with engineering teams, IT and external suppliers in an international setup.
It is an interesting opportunity if you enjoy combining function development with ECU ownership in a complex automotive context.
Job Description- You will develop and maintain body control concepts, functional specifications and requirements.
- You will act as ECU owner and technical interface for a body controller, including requirement alignment, supplier follow-up, release coordination and issue handling.
- You will review and follow up software and system issues in issue tracking tools such as SWIM.
- You will drive technical discussions with suppliers and help secure implementation according to agreed specifications, processes and standards.
- You will support integration of body functions into the ECU and contribute to testing, verification and validation activities.
- You will collaborate with stakeholders across engineering teams, brands and suppliers in an international environment.
- You will help adapt and evolve vehicle functions for the European market.
Requirements- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or an equivalent field.
- 5+ years of experience in working within the automotive area.
- Experience from working with Body Controllers.
- Experience from automotive electrical systems, electrical architecture and/or software development.
- Knowledge of ECU and/or software development processes.
- Knowledge of automotive best practices, standards and regulations.
- Experience of TeamCenter.
- Experience with Office applications, SystemWeaver, JIRA, CANoe and LDB.
Nice to have- Previous experience from ECU development within the client's organization.
