Job description: Let's introduce ourselvesThe Head Unit Platform display teams in ConX are connecting Android to the hardware, i.e. develop device drivers, start-up/shut-down procedures, diagnostics/swdl, safety monitoring etc. They optimize and commonize code to be able to deliver the VCC sustainable platform to multiple new displays with speed.
What you'll doDevelop and integrate low-level software modules for current and upcoming Infotainment head units running the latest Android Automotive OS. We collaborate closely with our external suppliers and partners to achieve the goals.
Quality is assured by automated unit and integration tests as well as testing and troubleshooting in our prototype cars in the garage.

You are fluent in embedded C++ development and debugging with proven experience in developing software in Android Platform and an embedded Linux or QNX environment, preferably within automotive. Proven experience in QNX and/or device drivers is considered a plus.
You are a collaborative and responsible team player who considers what is best for the wider company and product. You have the confidence to speak up and trust your own expertise while remaining humble and open to the perspectives of others. You approach your work with an innovative but realistic mindset.
To succeed in the role, you communicate proactively to ensure progress, provide transparent status updates and can clearly explain software-design decisions. You are receptive to technical feedback and are comfortable reviewing colleagues’ code and providing constructive input.
You have experience from the automotive industry and are familiar with unit, component and manual testing, as well as test automation. You have worked in agile teams and are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders and external suppliers. You also have experience in software architecture and hardware-related development.
