Role Purpose
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring material availability to support production and maintain operational continuity across Neko Health.
Working within the Sourcing & Procurement team, your primary focus will be to secure the timely flow of materials by partnering closely with Production and the Production Planner to keep build schedules on track.
This is a highly operational and hands-on role focused on purchasing execution, material flow, order management, and maintaining control across a large portfolio of part numbers.
You will also contribute to building structure and reliability within procurement processes by supporting data quality and process improvements as we continue implementing and developing our ERP environment.
This role combines strong coordination, execution, and ownership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and support Neko’s continued growth.
What You’ll Deliver in the First 6–12 Months
- Successfully manage day-to-day purchasing activities across a large portfolio of part numbers, ensuring materials are available to support production needs.
- Build strong working relationships with Production, Production Planning, Logistics, and the broader Sourcing & Procurement team to proactively resolve supply challenges.
- Establish reliable purchasing routines and maintain visibility across open purchase orders to minimise production disruption.
- Improve procurement data quality within the ERP system by updating and maintaining lead times, supplier information, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and other key procurement data.
- Create structure and ownership around inbound material-related requests and ensure issues are escalated and resolved effectively.
- Support the ongoing development and maturity of procurement processes and operational ways of working.
Minimum Qualifications
- Relevant experience in operative purchasing, materials planning, procurement operations, or a similar supply chain role.
- Experience managing a large portfolio of part numbers and balancing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong systems capability with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new tools and work confidently with incomplete or evolving data.
- Proven ability to maintain structure, prioritise effectively, and consistently follow through on commitments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions under time pressure.
- Professional working proficiency in both Swedish and English.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with operational stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in manufacturing, production, operations, or supply chain environments.
- Exposure to ERP systems and procurement data management.
- Experience supporting production planning or material readiness processes.
- Familiarity with purchasing metrics, supplier coordination, and inventory-related decision-making.
- Experience contributing to process improvements or operating within environments undergoing operational change.
Education
- Relevant post-secondary education within Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered where experience clearly demonstrates the required capabilities.
