Saab Naval Security Department is looking for a Registrar responsible for the Security Registry in Karlskrona. As the role involves handling classified information and physical security-related processes, the work is primarily carried out on-site.
You will work hands-on with security-related administration and especially the management of classified defence information, where attention to detail makes a real difference.
You ensure that classified defence documents are registered, distributed, archived and inventoried in accordance with established regulations. You will also support encryption tasks, manage cryptographic keys and perform administrative tasks such as IT-certificate management and task management administration.
In addition, you will dedicate part of your time to communications security (COMSEC) activities and act as the designated Communications Security Officer for the organization. In this capacity, you will support the administration, governance and compliance of Saab Naval's communications security processes and cryptographic assets, while working closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Your work impacts both colleagues and business operations, as the role is part of several interconnected security processes. The role involves coordination with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Saab's security organization, act as a backup function for Security Registries within the Business Area and contribute to the development and maintenance of Saab Naval's COMSEC capabilities.
You are comfortable using the English language and flexible to travel within the position. You will be part of the Security Office within the Naval Security Department and report to the Head of Security Office.

The Security Department at Business Area Naval is a team consisting of competences such as Security Managers, Information Security Specialists, Security Officers and Security Protection Specialists.
Your profileYou are structured and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity. You take pride in delivering high-quality work and have an eye for documentation standards and administrative accuracy. Experience working with the Swedish Security Protection Act, COMSEC administration or similar security-related fields is considered an advantage.
You are reliable and possess strong problem-solving abilities. You are comfortable handling both complex assignments and routine administrative tasks and approach your work with professionalism and commitment. You actively seek opportunities to improve ways of working, both within the department and across the business in relation to the security protection.
The role involves a significant amount of independent work, and you enjoy taking ownership of your responsibilities while remaining an engaged member of a broader security organization. You can adapt your communication style to different audiences and communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
