About the job

You’re accountable for the end-to-end finance solution architecture within the Aurora/Infor System21 landscape. You ensure that finance processes, integrations, data flows, controls, and reporting solutions support business priorities while aligning enterprise architecture principles. You proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks. This position combines architecture ownership with hands-on collaboration across finance and technology communities. Through experience in similar roles, you have developed a strong understanding of the full software development and product lifecycle.

Job responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Infor S21 finance solution architecture, including target-state roadmap and design principles.
• Govern solution design decisions for enhancements, projects, upgrades, and ongoing improvements.
• Drive standardization of the financial solution and actively manage technical debt.
• Design and oversee finance integrations, data flows, and reporting interfaces across connected platforms.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage testing activities.
• Support Internal and External Audits.
• Analyze, identify, and resolve application issues.
• Safeguard data integrity, security, auditability, and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities for automation, reporting improvements, and AI-enabled efficiencies while collaborating with stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors, and partners.

Location and flexibility

The position is intended for candidates within the Nordics or the UK. For internal candidates, global flexibility may be considered.

Your profile

Success in this position comes from combining strong finance process knowledge with solid ERP architecture expertise. You’ve worked with complex application landscapes and understand how to balance business requirements, governance, compliance, and long-term solution sustainability.

Your background includes

• Experience as an ERP or application architect with strong finance domain expertise.
• Experience supporting finance applications and processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, tax determination, and reporting.
• Experience with Infor System21 or similar ERP platforms such as Infor M3, JD Edwards,or other IBMi based business applications
• Experience designing and governing integrations, reporting solutions, and data flows across enterprise environments.
• Experience working with global organizations as well as vendors, application management providers, and implementation partners.

Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you’re comfortable working across finance, architecture, delivery, and vendor teams. A thoughtful and analytical approach helps you solve complex challenges, while strong communication skills allow you to explain technical decisions clearly to both business and IT audiences. You’re confident in challenging unnecessary customization and advocating for sustainable, standardized solutions that create long-term value.
