Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with 3-5 years’ experience to join our organization. In this role, you will design, architect, and implement scalable cloud solutions across major hyperscaler platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures while providing strategic consulting guidance to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture Design: Design and architect enterprise-grade cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, security, and performance
• Hyperscaler Integration: Lead integration efforts across multiple cloud platforms, managing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments
• Custom Development Oversight: Guide and review custom development initiatives, ensuring alignment with cloud best practices and architectural standards
• Systems Integration: Design and implement complex integrations between cloud services, on-premises systems, and third-party applications
• Consulting & Advisory: Provide strategic consulting to clients on cloud adoption, migration strategies, and digital transformation initiatives
• Solution Implementation: Collaborate with development teams to implement cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and security protocols
• Documentation & Governance: Create comprehensive architecture documentation, design patterns, and governance frameworks
• Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present technical solutions and recommendations to executive and technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional certification
• Acceptable certifications include: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Architect, or similar advanced cloud architecture credentials

Experience

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two major cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Microsoft Azure/Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Custom Development Experience: 2+ years working with custom application development in cloud environments
• Proficiency with modern programming languages (Java, Python, • NET, Node.js, Go, or similar)
• Understanding of application design patterns and cloud-native development practices
• Integration Architecture: 2+ years designing and implementing enterprise integrations
• APIs and RESTful services
• Microservices architecture
• Message queues and event-driven architectures
• ETL pipelines and data integration
• iPaaS and integration platforms

Technical Skills

• Cloud Platforms: Deep knowledge of:
• AWS: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, API Gateway, ECS/EKS
• Azure: Virtual Machines, App Services, SQL Database, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, AKS
• GCP: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, GKE
• Architecture Patterns: Expertise in:
• Microservices and service-oriented architecture
• Serverless computing
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Distributed systems and scalability patterns
• Integration Technologies:
• API management and API gateways
• Message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS)
• ETL and data integration tools
• iPaaS solutions (MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar)
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with at least two of: Terraform/CloudFormation/ARM templates/Ansible or similar tools
• DevOps & CI/CD:
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Containerization and orchestration
• Infrastructure automation
• Monitoring and logging solutions

Professional Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• + 5 years consulting experience, providing technical consulting or advisory services
• Experience from FSI and/or public sector
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities in Swedish and English
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Project management and stakeholder engagement experience
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Strategic thinking and business acumen
