Barista – ThirdPlace Art Café & Creative Hub

Location: Vasastan, Stockholm

ThirdPlace is more than a café. We are a creative community space bringing together coffee, food, art, culture, events and people in the heart of Stockholm. We’re now looking for an experienced and energetic Barista to join our team.

About the role

As a Barista at ThirdPlace, you’ll be part of the daily operation of the café while helping us create the warm, social atmosphere that defines ThirdPlace.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing high-quality espresso-based coffee, tea and other beverages
• Preparing and serving simple café food and desserts
• Providing warm, professional and attentive customer service
• Taking orders, handling the register and payments
• Keeping the coffee station, kitchen and guest areas clean and organised
• Opening and closing routines
• Restocking and supporting daily café operations
• Helping during events, workshops and private gatherings when needed
• Working both independently and together with the team

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and genuinely enjoys hospitality.

You should:

• Have previous barista or café experience
• Be confident using a professional espresso machine
• Have good knowledge of espresso-based drinks; latte art is a strong advantage
• Be comfortable with basic food preparation
• Be organised, fast and calm during busy periods
• Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done
• Care about cleanliness and presentation
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with different kinds of people
• Be comfortable working independently
• Be available for weekdays, evenings and weekends
• Speak English; Swedish is an advantage
