Arbetsbeskrivning

Nolato MediTech develops and manufactures polymer products and systems for global Medtech and Pharma customers. We offer extensive turnkey solutions within plastic and silicone molding, as well as innovative assembly solutions.

Do you want to combine engineering expertise with customer collaboration in an industry where quality, structure and long-term partnerships matter?

As a Sales Engineer, you will be the technical-commercial link between our customers and Nolato MediTech. You will help turn customer needs into robust manufacturing solutions, working closely with engineering, quality, purchasing and controlling throughout the quotation and project process.

About the role

In this role, you will support sales within the contract manufacturing of medical devices. You will lead and structure the technical-commercial dialogue from request for quotation to signed agreement, ensuring that customer requirements are understood, evaluated and translated into feasible, high-quality solutions.

Rather than selling a standard product, you will work with complex, customer-specific projects and long product life cycles. Your engineering background will enable you to engage confidently in technical discussions, coordinate input from internal specialists and explain our proposed manufacturing set-ups clearly to customers.

You report directly to the Managing Director, who holds the overall sales responsibility. You will work closely with a senior Sales Account Manager, who will provide mentoring and commercial support. The position supports our facilities in Hörby and Lomma and is based at our Hörby site.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop business opportunities with new and existing customers in line with Nolato MediTech’s strategy and established ways of working.
  • Act as a technical-commercial contact for customers, clarifying requirements, coordinating technical input and supporting discussions on manufacturing solutions.
  • Drive, coordinate and prepare quotations in accordance with the Quotation Review process, working with engineering, quality, purchasing and controlling.
  • Support the evaluation of manufacturability, technical risks, quality requirements and proposed production set-ups during the quotation phase.
  • Communicate and negotiate product pricing, services and commercial terms together with the relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and facilitate Business Review meetings with customers, ensuring follow-up on technical, commercial and operational topics.
  • Work closely with the Medical Solutions business area to align customer strategies, pipeline activity and business opportunities.
  • Ensure that technical and commercial commitments are clearly documented and handed over effectively to the project and operational teams.

Background and skills

We welcome candidates at an earlier stage of their commercial career who bring a strong technical foundation and the motivation to develop in a customer-facing role. Relevant experience from sales, application engineering, project engineering, product development, manufacturing engineering or technical project coordination is valuable, but extensive sales experience is not a requirement.

  • Education — A university degree in engineering, for example mechanical engineering, materials/polymer engineering, industrial engineering, biomedical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Technical understanding — Ability to understand and discuss technical solutions, manufacturing processes, drawings, specifications and production set-ups with customers and internal specialists.
  • Relevant environment — Experience from medical devices, life science, contract manufacturing or another technically advanced and regulated industry is an advantage.
  • Structured working style — Ability to document, coordinate and follow defined processes in a complex project environment.
  • Communication — Strong communication skills and the ability to build confidence with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Languages — Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written.

Profile

We believe you are someone who:

  • Is curious about technology and enjoys understanding how products and manufacturing processes work.
  • Can translate customer needs into clear questions and practical next steps for internal experts.
  • Works in a structured and methodical way, with attention to quality and detail.
  • Uses the organisation’s expertise naturally and knows when to involve the right people.
  • Builds long-term, trust-based relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Is comfortable developing into a commercial role and taking responsibility for customer dialogue over time.
  • Has a professional, collaborative and confident manner in discussions and negotiations.

We offer

  • A key technical-commercial role in a growing medical technology company.
  • A structured organisation with clear mandates, processes and decision paths.
  • Close collaboration with experienced colleagues in sales, engineering, quality and regulatory affairs.
  • Mentoring and support as you develop your technical-commercial career.
  • Long-term development opportunities within Nolato MediTech and the Nolato Group.
