Software is becoming an even more critical part of the vehicle, and that puts high demands on predictable, high-quality release deliveries. In this role, you will lead software releases for complete vehicle baselines in a large-scale engineering environment where many teams, dependencies, and stakeholders need to move in the same direction.

You will be part of a Release Leader team with a central role in securing successful deliveries across vehicle programs. Alongside owning your own releases, you will help strengthen how the team works by supporting colleagues, driving improvements, and contributing to the continued development of the release capability.

You will work close to engineering stakeholders across the organization and help connect planning, prioritization, issue resolution, and release readiness into a clear and effective release flow. • You will lead and coordinate software releases through the full release process.
• You will drive planning, prioritization, issue resolution, and release readiness activities to secure predictable deliveries.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering to align dependencies and support successful release outcomes.
• You will take ownership of release deliveries and help move them forward with structure, clarity, and momentum.
• You will act as a senior role model within the Release Leader team and contribute to a strong culture of leadership and collaboration.
• You will coach and mentor other Release Leaders by sharing knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.
• You will drive improvements in ways of working, release governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
• You will lead selected transformation and improvement initiatives within the Release Leader community.
• You will help strengthen the team’s overall capability and prepare the function for future challenges.

• MSc in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience from large-scale software development and delivery organizations.
• Proven experience leading complex projects, transformations, or organizational change initiatives.
• Experience within software release management, software integration, or software program leadership.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Swedish driving licence.
• Ability to complete a basic background check covering identity, education, employment history, and citizenship verification.
