Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related production issues
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions
• Support and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
• Perform PLC programming modifications and system configuration
• Provide technical support during production disturbances
• Improve automation system reliability and availability
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain technical documentation and change records
• Handle deviations and engineering change requests
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams
• Optimize automation performance and operational efficiency
• Support preventive maintenance activities
• Ensure automation systems operate safely and efficiently

What You Bring

• Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
• 2–5+ years of industrial automation experience
• Experience troubleshooting automation systems in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
• Experience with Siemens automation platforms (preferred)
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience supporting production environments
• Ability to work in fast-paced operational environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good English communication skills
• Swedish is an advantage
