Role Summary
This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented embedded software developer to join our team in the exciting field of steering actuators for trucks and buses. We are working with cutting-edge technology on both, not yet launched, as well as launched steering systems.
Internal applicants from TRATON Group R&D and Scania R&D (BID) are prioritized for this position. Candidates from the broader TRATON Group (including brands) are welcome to apply and may be reviewed based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities
As a software developer in our team you will have diverse tasks. You will be part of a diverse embedded systems development team and assist in daily development tasks such as requirement reviews, safety analyses, function development and implementation. Your tasks will cover implementing functionality in systems that are currently being developed, as well as participating in setting a strategy for how to expand our future in-house development.

To be successful in this role, you likely have:
A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in embedded systems development. More specifically:

This Is Us
We are a team working with E/E systems connected to steering of trucks and busses. There are a lot of people to have technical discussions with. We are a mix of different personalities and experiences, with different backgrounds which makes us a complementary and diverse team. We work with both in-house developed steering systems, and steering systems developed by suppliers. We have products in different parts of the development cycle; both systems that have already been introduced on the market, and projects in the development phase.
