TECHLA is a growing consulting company based in Gothenburg, specializing in Embedded Systems, Full-Stack Development, and DevOps.

We're looking for a backend-focused engineer to join a collaborative team building and operating scalable cloud-based services on AWS.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain backend services in Java and Python
• Design, build, and optimize AWS-based solutions with a focus on scalability and architecture
• Work with CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and cloud operations
• Collaborate closely with your team through code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong experience with Java and Python
• Solid experience working with AWS
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures
• A DevOps mindset with an interest in automation and operational excellence
• Professional proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven or message-based protocols (e.g. MQTT)
• Knowledge of observability, performance optimization, or security
