Assignment Description

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join an exciting engineering project in the northern Stockholm region.

What You Will Work On

• Perform mechanical design and product development activities
• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings
• Support ongoing product and machine design projects
• Participate in project meetings and technical discussions
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation
• Support design reviews and technical evaluations
• Contribute to problem-solving and continuous product improvements
• Manage design-related administrative and documentation activities
• Work independently while contributing actively within the project team
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality and project requirements
• Support the full product development lifecycle from concept to implementation

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
• Strong experience with SolidWorks for 3D design and documentation
• Background in product development, machine design, or mechanical engineering
• Experience creating technical drawings, assemblies, and manufacturing documentation
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned engineering tasks
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience working within project-based engineering environments
• Structured and detail-oriented approach to engineering work
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and delivery
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
