The Operations Strategy Leader is responsible for driving the development, alignment, and execution of the operations strategy across Cytiva’s manufacturing and supply chain organization. This role partners closely with senior operations leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives that improve performance, scalability, and long-term competitiveness. As Operations Strategy Leader, you ensure long-term competitiveness by future-proofing capacity and capabilities, securing reliable supply (“security of supply”), and enabling innovation to be effectively translated into stable, scalable delivery to customers.

This position reports to the VP Operations and will be an on-site role based in Uppsala, Sweden.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead the development and deployment of the Operations strategy in alignment with Cytiva and Danaher business priorities.
• Translate strategic objectives into clear, executable initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operational excellence.
• Drive cross-functional strategic programs, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and measurable impact.
• Partner with site and global operations leaders to identify growth opportunities, productivity improvements, and capability gaps.
• Use data and performance insights to support decision-making, scenario planning, and long-range operational planning.
• Support transformation initiatives, including footprint optimization, capacity expansion, and operational maturity development.
• Ensure structured follow-up, governance, and communication of strategic initiatives to senior stakeholders.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Long-standing experience in operations strategy, manufacturing strategy, management consulting, or senior operations roles within a regulated or industrial environment.
• Deep end-to-end value chain expertise across manufacturing, supply chain, and quality in an industrial or regulated environment, preferably Life Science.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience using data to drive strategic and operational decisions.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industries.
• Experience working with continuous improvement frameworks and large-scale transformation programs.
