Assignment Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Define requirements and design advanced network and embedded platforms
• Perform bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting of hardware-near systems
• Work with platforms based on Ethernet chipsets and networking modules
• Lead and support troubleshooting across hardware and software domains
• Collaborate closely with electronics and embedded Linux development teams
• Investigate and resolve complex cross-domain system issues
• Analyze system behavior and ensure reliability and performance
• Document architecture decisions, measurements, and troubleshooting findings
• Validate functionality and stability across integrated environments
• Support continuous improvements in platform quality and technical robustness
• Contribute to system integration and product lifecycle activities

What You Bring

• Academic background in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent practical experience
• Deep understanding of low-level networking technologies including Ethernet and hardware-near communication
• Experience with bring-up and troubleshooting of low-level interfaces such as PHY, MDIO, U-Boot, and Linux-based environments
• Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or similar diagnostic tools
• Experience with or strong understanding of SFP/SFP+ and optical transceiver technologies
• Ability and interest in solving complex problems across hardware and software boundaries
• Experience working closely with electronics and embedded software teams
• Strong analytical and structured troubleshooting capabilities
• Professional proficiency in Swedish and English
