Role overview
We are looking for a Development Manager who is passionate about people, software development and building high-performing engineering teams. In this role, you will lead and support a few development teams while working closely with Product Owners, Architects and other stakeholders to create high-quality software solutions.
As a Development Manager, your primary focus will be leadership, team development, delivery and creating an environment where engineers can thrive and do their best work. We also believe you are curious about emerging technologies and interested in how AI can support software development, collaboration and innovation.

This is a full-time, permanent position. At IST, we apply an office-first policy, meaning we primarily work from the office as we believe physical presence fosters collaboration, innovation, and a strong team spirit. At the same time, we understand the importance of flexibility—if you live farther away, working from the office three days a week with the remaining time remote may be possible. In Scandinavia our offices are located in Stockholm, Växjö, Roskilde and Oslo.
