Assignment Description

We are currently looking for a Senior System & Application Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade business-critical application platforms
• Support operational and development-related activities across application environments
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Manage system lifecycle activities and release implementation
• Support testing and validation of infrastructure and application changes
• Work with integrations including APIs, messaging, and file-based communication
• Contribute to incident, problem, and change management processes
• Collaborate across teams in a large-scale enterprise environment
• Ensure security, availability, and operational stability
• Participate in agile delivery processes including sprint planning and backlog execution
• Support technical improvements and continuous optimization initiatives
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to different stakeholder groups

What You Bring

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing systems in Linux (RHEL) environments
• Experience within banking, financial services, or comparable enterprise environments
• Experience working with system integrations, including APIs, file transfers, and MQ
• Strong experience in incident, problem, and change management
• Strong understanding of secure architecture and operational governance
• Experience working through full delivery cycles including analysis, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, and firewall concepts
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical topics clearly
• Professional proficiency in Swedish and English
