You will join a large-scale data migration initiative in a complex enterprise environment where business-critical information is being moved from legacy platforms to modern systems. The work centers on transforming and migrating large data volumes in a secure, scalable, and reliable way, with strong focus on consistency between systems and repeatable processing.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and migration teams. You will help shape how data is extracted, transformed, scheduled, and validated across multiple platforms, including SQL Server and DB2. • You will develop and maintain SQL-based solutions for large-scale data migration.
• You will transform and move substantial amounts of data between legacy and modern platforms.
• You will build repeatable data processing pipelines that support secure and efficient migration flows.
• You will work with SQL Server, DB2, and related migration tooling to ensure stable execution.
• You will create XML from SQL data when needed for downstream integrations and migration steps.
• You will manage job scheduling and queuing in SQL Server to support reliable migration runs.
• You will help ensure data consistency between systems throughout the migration process.
• You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to align migration logic with business needs.

• Experience as a SQL Server developer.
• Experience in migrating data or bulk moving large amounts of data.
• Good understanding of how to construct XML from SQL data.
• Ability to write repeatable data processing pipelines and ensure data consistency between systems during a migration process.
• Experience with SSIS and/or SSMA.
• Knowledge of how to manage job scheduling and queuing in SQL Server to create a repeatable migration process.
• Understanding of data formatting in DB2 and how to convert between code pages.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

• Experience from banking, finance, insurance, or other highly regulated environments.
