You will help shape parts of the in-car experience that drivers and passengers use every day: interior illumination and power outlet solutions such as wireless phone charging, USB, and 12V. The role sits in a cross-functional interior systems environment where hardware, software, testing, packaging, and design need to come together to create products with high quality and a strong user experience.

In this role, you will take ownership of hardware-related development in close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders across several engineering areas. You will work in an automotive setting with many interfaces and a clear focus on turning requirements into robust products for future vehicles. It is an exciting opportunity if you want to work close to the product and influence solutions that are both visible and important in the final vehicle.

• You will lead hardware and electronics development within the team and drive the work forward together with suppliers.
• You will secure that delivered solutions meet requirements and maintain a high level of product quality.
• You will create and refine requirement specifications for electronics and hardware.
• You will evaluate hardware performance in rigs and in vehicles to verify function and quality.
• You will support test activities and contribute to problem-solving during development.
• You will take part in packaging discussions to secure the required space for future vehicle solutions.
• You will collaborate closely with the project leader, software responsible, and test engineer in the team.
• You will work with stakeholders across areas such as interior systems, design, EMC, ergonomics, electrical performance, perceived quality, and vehicle engineering.

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training and experience.
• Min 3-4 years of experience in electronic development.
• Experience in electronic requirement management.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Fluent Swedish, spoken and written.
• Valid driving license B.
• You are structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative in a cross-functional environment.
• You communicate well and collaborate effectively with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Experience from automotive development.
• An interest in cars and driver experience.
