Job Title: Consultant/Senior Consultant – Data Scientist

Location: Sweden

Experience: Minimum 6 years

Role Overview

A highly skilled Technology Lead – Data Scientist with strong experience in designing, developing, and deploying advanced data science and machine learning solutions at scale. The role involves leading end-to-end AI/ML initiatives, establishing robust MLOps practices, and delivering production‑ready models that drive business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions, while providing technical leadership and mentoring within the data science team.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Learning & Data Science

• Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models for predictive modeling, classification, and forecasting use cases
• Apply data analysis and data wrangling techniques to prepare high‑quality datasets from diverse data sources
• Perform model evaluation, validation, and performance tuning to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability
• Implement dimensionality reduction and feature engineering techniques as required

Neural Networks, NLP & Computer Vision

• Build and deploy neural network models using TensorFlow and Keras
• Develop solutions leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) for text analysis, extraction, and understanding
• Design and implement computer vision solutions using OpenCV for image and video‑based use cases

MLOps & Model Deployment

• Lead ML model deployment to production environments with proper versioning and model registry management
• Implement and maintain MLOps pipelines for continuous training, testing, deployment, and monitoring of models
• Ensure reproducibility, observability, and lifecycle management of machine learning models

Cloud & Platform Engineering

• Deploy and run machine learning workloads in containerized environments using Kubernetes
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of data science solutions in production
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ML solutions into enterprise systems

Generative & Advanced AI

• Contribute to innovation initiatives involving Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI
• Explore and implement advanced AI techniques to enhance automation and intelligent decision‑making

Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to junior data scientists
• Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical reviews
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI/ML solutions
• Support production issues, model retraining, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

· Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in Data Science and Machine Learning

· Strong proficiency in Python

· Solid experience with Machine Learning algorithms and Predictive Modeling

· Hands‑on experience with Neural Networks (TensorFlow, Keras)

· Practical experience in MLOps, ML model deployment, and model registry concepts

· Strong background in data analysis, data wrangling, and model evaluation

· Experience with NLP and/or Computer Vision (OpenCV)

· Exposure to Kubernetes for deploying and managing ML workloads

· Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

· Hands‑on exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) or Agentic AI solutions

· Experience working with large‑scale datasets or big data environments

· Prior experience in consulting or client‑facing roles

Qualifications & Certifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field

· Preferred certifications in:

o Data Science / Machine Learning

o Cloud or AI‑related certifications
