You will join a team that wants to raise the bar for testing, automation and service reliability in a digital services environment. The role is broad and hands-on: you will work across UI, API and backend, improve existing automated tests, and help build a more effective approach to quality throughout the development lifecycle.

You will not only execute tests, but also investigate failures, analyze logs and integrations, use browser DevTools, and contribute to monitoring of existing services. This is a role for you if you enjoy combining deep technical testing with a test leader mindset and want to influence how quality is built into everyday development work.

What makes the role especially interesting is the chance to shape automation, regression coverage and release quality in a modern setup with CI/CD, microservices and close collaboration across the team.

• You will break down requirements into relevant test cases for new development.
• You will define and secure validation requirements and acceptance criteria together with Business Analysts and Developers.
• You will automate manual, exploratory, integration and regression testing across UI, API and backend.
• You will develop, maintain and improve test frameworks and identify new areas where automation adds value.
• You will execute automated test suites, analyze results and follow up defects in non-production environments.
• You will investigate failures in system tests during development, operations and incidents using logs, integrations and browser DevTools.
• You will help drive deploy and release quality from both a functional and business perspective.
• You will manage test data across multiple environments to support reliable and repeatable test execution.
• You will contribute to monitoring of existing services and support the team’s ongoing work with UI test automation.
• You will share your knowledge and help strengthen automation capabilities within the wider testing setup.

• 5+ years as tester & test leader.
• Strong automation and technical background with solid analytical skills.
• Experience automating test cases for UI, API and backend as part of an evolving regression suite.
• Expertise in API testing using Insomnia or Postman.
• Knowledge of microservices.
• Hands-on experience with API types such as Websocket, Rest and GraphQl.
• Knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle and experience with at least one test management tool.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress or UI Automation.
• Experience working with digital services.
• Complete proficiency in English.
• Ability to complete a background check before start.

• Good knowledge of agile principles.
• Experience working with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience testing and automating a map based tool.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience using AI tools such as AWS Kiro or Copilot.
• Swedish language skills.
