You will shape lighting experiences for future vehicles in a design-led automotive environment. The role spans both interior and exterior lighting, from early concept development to simulation and physical prototyping. Working closely with design, CMF, UX and engineering, you will turn creative ideas into lighting solutions that strengthen brand expression, support safety and meet technical and regulatory demands. • You will create lighting concepts for both interior and exterior applications, including ambient, functional and communication lighting.
• You will develop solutions that match the vehicle's design character and technical constraints, and propose how light can be integrated into surfaces, gaps, joints and materials.
• You will use visualisation, simulation and VR tools to validate light effects, integration and feasibility.
• You will build and validate prototypes together with internal teams and external partners to test ideas and refine solutions.
• You will lead engaging presentations that clearly communicate design intent to stakeholders and suppliers.
• You will collaborate across design and engineering disciplines to move concepts toward manufacturable lighting solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Design, Product Design, Transportation Design, Interaction Design, Lighting Design, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in automotive lighting design or closely related fields, such as consumer products or architecture.
• Proficiency with lighting design and visualisation tools.
• Experience translating light concepts into feasible, manufacturable solutions together with suppliers and engineering teams.
• Electrical and electronic basics, together with a hands-on prototyping mindset and rapid prototyping skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with strong storytelling and presentation skills.

• Knowledge of automotive lighting regulations and constraints.
