Hitachi Energy delivers power grid technologies that supply electricity to more than three billion people worldwide. We are now looking for a Control & Protection Engineer for our HVDC team in Ludvika.

In this role, you will work with the development, configuration, and verification of control and protection functions for HVDC installations. Programming is performed in graphical function block environments for real-time systems, where you build logic for regulation, monitoring, and protection.
You will work closely with system engineers, test teams, and site organizations in international projects, and see your solutions tested, verified, and commissioned in real facilities. We value candidates who can see the bigger picture, are curious, and eager to learn.
Since the role involves close collaboration with global project teams, personal qualities will be important in the recruitment process.

In this role, you will be based at our office in Ludvika, Sweden. We require high attendance at the office, as it facilitates our way of working. For long periods, it is close to 100% attendance that applies especially in our test phase.
