As a UX Technical Designer you will act as a generalist who bridges the gap between UX, systems, and technical implementation. You will empower UX Designers, UX Artists, Engineers, and game teams by developing robust tools, frameworks, and systems that make player experiences feel intuitive, polished, and performant.
To thrive in this role we think you have experience working with Unreal Engine and UI frameworks, strong C++ foundations, and a genuine curiosity about what makes game interactions feel intuitive. The bar for UX in games is rising, and we're pushing to stay ahead of the curve. Join us and help shape what comes next!
Example of responsibilities
Collaborate with and enable UX Designers, UX Artists, and UX Researchers to deliver great player experiences - contributing to feature development, shared tooling, and a consistent, high-quality player experience.
Take ownership of UX design for game features, balancing new feature development with maintenance of existing systems.
Work closely with engineers to implement UI features in Unreal Engine, bridging the gap between design intent and technical execution.
Identify gaps in the player experience and proactively drive improvements — thinking in systems, considering edge cases early, and keeping consistency and creativity in balance.
Help level up UX understanding across the studio and foster a culture of design sharing, feedback, and critique.
We would love if you have
A creative and curious mind with a passion for player-centered design
5+ years of experience within UX/UI or product design, or similar.
An interest in games and player experiences
Experience designing for multiple platforms and input methods such as PC, console, or mobile
A systematic approach to design - you think beyond screens, plan for edge cases, and design for scalability
Familiarity with Unreal Engine or a curiosity and willingness to learn it — prior hands-on experience is a plus, not a requirement
Interest in data and data-driven design
