Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced consultant to establish and scale a governance model for Power BI and Power Platform

What You Will Work On

• Define and implement governance frameworks for Power BI and Power Platform
• Lead migration of Power BI environments to West Europe aligned with Azure architecture
• Design and structure centrally governed semantic data models
• Ensure end-to-end data lineage (e.g., Snowflake → semantic models → reports)
• Establish best practices for access management (workspaces, roles, ownership)
• Define and implement policies for data classification and sensitivity labeling
• Analyze and optimize existing Power Platform environments
• Manage and structure access control and security groups
• Clean up and standardize existing apps and environments
• Propose and implement automation for access management and workflows
• Review and optimize licensing models and cost structures

What You Bring

• Proven experience with Power BI administration and governance
• Strong experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Experience designing and implementing access control and permission models
• Solid knowledge of data modeling and semantic layer design
• Understanding of Azure environments and data center architectures
• Experience with BI platform migrations or similar transformations
• Ability to work both strategically and hands-on
