Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines
• Develop and manage business-critical datasets for analytics and reporting
• Optimize data infrastructure for performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Architect backend systems handling large-scale data processing
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into data models
• Drive improvements in data architecture, workflows, and engineering practices
• Establish and promote best practices for testing, quality, and maintainability
• Support and lead initiatives related to metrics, reporting, and analytics tools
• Mentor and guide junior Data Engineers

What You Bring

• Extensive hands-on experience designing and building scalable data pipelines
• Strong experience with technologies such as Scala, SQL, dbt, and GCP (or similar)
• Proven ability to architect backend systems for large data volumes
• Deep understanding of cloud-based data infrastructure
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured data solutions
• Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
• Experience driving code quality, testing practices, and maintainability
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and guide stakeholders
• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers
