Joulnova is a battery start-up company which is focusing on advanced battery manufacturing technology development. We are currently stealth mode and planning to be visible in 2026.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in the Greater Uppsala Metropolitan Area for a Battery Material Procurement Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for managing procurement processes, which include creating purchase orders, conducting supplier evaluations, and negotiating contracts. Other key responsibilities include analyzing procurement data to optimize the supply chain and ensuring that procurement aligns with company objectives. Collaboration with suppliers and internal teams will be essential to maintain quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Purchase Orders and Procurement processes
• Fluent in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Swedish
• Skills in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation
• Strong Analytical Skills to assess data and make informed procurement decisions
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Proficiency in procurement management tools and software is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a professional, on-site team environment
