You will play an active role in the development of engine components and systems in a technically advanced automotive environment. The focus of the role is 3D CFD analysis, where you use Star CCM+ to evaluate performance, support engineering decisions, and help move development forward.

You will work in a development process built around regular technical discussions, where your analysis is an important part of deciding what to simulate next and how results should be interpreted. This is a great opportunity for you if you enjoy combining deep simulation work with real influence on methods, analysis quality, and product development.

• You will perform CFD simulations of engine components and systems using Star CCM+.
• You will take part in regular technical meetings and help define which simulations are needed.
• You will analyze simulation results and present your conclusions to support development decisions.
• You will contribute to improving simulation methodologies and ways of working over time.
• You will collaborate closely with engineers involved in the engine development process.

• M Sc or higher academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or comparable.
• A minimum of two years experience in industrially applied CFD simulations.
• Professional level of proficiency in Star CCM+.
• Fluent English.

• Experience with underhood simulations.
• Experience of modelling rotating geometries such as turbines and compressors.
• Experience with Cooling Jacket simulations.
• Experience of simulations using conjugate heat transfer.
